Wireless is slow today

I'd like to point out that I really miss the days when the most appropriate color scheme for any graphical user interface was cyan and magenta.

Just saying.

Anyhow, read on, things are really gettin goin' around here....
As I said before, things are really moving and shaking around here right now. I have more or less finished my design work for the research study...looks like we'll be doing three task workthroughs with subjects, with a qualitative interview afterwards. This is going to entail a *lot* of work on my part. Weee!!! Basically, there is going to be about three hours of actual one-on-one time, with approximately two additional hours of individual analysis, per subject. Now, we're hoping for somewhere between 20 and 50 subjects (the more the merrier, of course), so...indeed.

In other news, I am once again sick. I just cannot seem to shake this one. I dunno, maybe I'll go back to the doctor again...

Yesterday, we had a research methods day...very interesting. My social science background is coming in much more handy than i would originally have supposed (I took anthropology courses mainly for the easy A's). The woman who was running it was unable to make it, so we basically ended up going through a textbook I just read (which is really awesome and if you are going into any kind of human-oriented CS at all you should read it). This was somewhat less than new and exciting, but going through it from a group perspective was really helpful.

I heart CHISEL. I cannot possibly imagine a better place for me to do graduate studies. This rocks.
