First Entry

I recently received the Candian Distributed Mentorship Grant, and will be posting my journal entries relating to the work I do for said grant under this category.

As you may have noticed, it's actually the third week of summer semester, as opposed to the first, which was when I started working for Dr. Peggy Storey under the CDMP i obtained recently. This is largely due to the fact that, a scant three days after I arrived here, I contracted infectious mononucleosis! This, unfortunately, resulted in me spending almost three full weeks in bed. Whoo! The way I dealt with this was by noting that if it were called Uno! instead of Mono, I'd totally have been winning. Just go with me on this.
