Diseases, Xanadu, and Italy. In that order.

Well, the bronchitis is on the downslope...

Mostly. *cough choke hack*

On the plus side, I've read more papers in the last week than I have in the entire rest of my academic career. And I am thoroughly convinced that Ted Nelson (of Xanadu fame) is a crackpot. As far as I can tell, he has been devoted to a fairytale for the past forty years. Also, their website? Are they showing their disdain for HTML by making crappy webpages?

Anyhow, I'm going to SOSG in just three days- whoo! Pisa! I get to hang out with Steve, and my mom (I'd provide a link, but my mother's internet footprint basically consists of a hotmail account), and possibly buy things that I'd like to own. Yeah. And there's buildings and stuff. Oh yeah, and that whole academic conference in which I have to stand up in front of lots of really smart people and display my complete lack of afore mentioned quality.
