About Me

My name is Milena Scaccia and I am currently in my fourth year of undergraduate studies at McGill University. I expect to graduate with a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science by Spring 2008.

As part of the CDMP program, I will be conducting research under the supervision of professors Joelle Pineau, Doina Precup and Prakash Panangaden in the Reasoning and Learning Lab throughout the summer.

About My Mentor

Joelle Pineau is a Computer Science professor at McGill University. Her main area of research is motivated by the desire to build robust intelligent autonomous systems. This entails finding new algorithmic solutions to planning under uncertainty and implementing these algorithms in the context of real-world robotic and medical systems.
