2015 BECA – Natalie Enright Jerger


CRA-Women proudly announces Natalie Enright Jerger as this year’s 2015 Borg Early Career Award Winner.  The award honors the late Anita Borg, who was an early member of CRA-W and an inspiration for her commitment in increasing the participation of women in computing research. The annual award is given to a woman in computer science and/or engineering who has made significant research contributions and who has contributed to her profession, especially in the outreach to women. Natalie is passionate about mentoring students and is deeply committed to increasing the participation of women in computer science and engineering. Natalie’s contributions to research have been recognized with several awards including the Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation Early Researcher Award (2012), the Ontario Professional Engineers Young Engineer Medal (2014) and an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship (2015).
