Parameters for new Bibtext Types:

techreport
    required = 'nickname (no special characters)', 'title', 'author', 'year'
    optional = 'number', 'month', 'institution', 'address', 'url'

misc
    required      = 'title', 'author', 'year'
    optional      = 'month', 'howpublished'

Notes:

  • We did not replace the “masterthesis” – we just added “techreport” and “misc” formats – so all the old ones work too
  • On the Techreport email and in the documentation online, there was no URL field – but in the PDF example there was, so we’ve added one. Let us know if you’d like it removed.
