SIAM CSE19 Broader Engagement Program

DSW - Through the SIAM community and activities we aim to assist in providing a rich scientific program, mentoring, and career and professional development to students from underrepresented and underprivileged backgrounds who aspire to broaden their experience in research-based professional activities.

Cross-layer Computing Summer School: Circuits to System

The Summer School workshop on Computer Architecture and Circuits will be held on August 16-17, 2018 at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. This workshop is primarily targeted at women and under-represented minorities who are currently enrolled in computer science or computer engineering graduate programs with an interest in computer architecture and circuit research.

Joint 7th N2Women and WICE

The N2Women workshop aims to foster connections among the underrepresented women in communications, computer networking and related research fields.

Broadening Participation in Visualization (BPViZ 18)

The workshop is designed to inform, inspire and encourage participants, specifically participants historically underrepresented at the conference, to engage in the multidisciplinary dynamics of visualization.

AAAI 2017 Diversity Workshop

CRA-W/CDC is proud to sponsor the 2017 AAAI Diversity Workshop via the Discipline Specific Workshop program. The goal of the workshop is to discuss issues facing members of underrepresented groups in AI, with emphasis on cases studies and best practices to change the situation at all levels, from K-12 to college level and in the workforce.

BPViz’16: Broadening Participation in Visualization Workshop

The 2016 CRA-W/CDC CADENS Broadening Participation in Visualization (BPViz’16) Workshop will be held August 3-4, 2016. The goal of the workshop is to cross boundaries between STEM and non-STEM domains of scientists with data visualization needs, to facilitate collaborations and broaden participation in visualization on all levels: academic, research and industry.
