The most recent Early & Mid Career Mentoring Workshop for Early CMW Research and Early CMW Lab took place on November 3-4 in Phoenix, Arizona.
When you attend an Early & Mid Career Mentoring Workshop, you will receive mentoring and advice on topics such as how to:
Early Career – how to build a great research program, advise students and get funding, how to be an effective and inspiring teacher, how to set yourself up for promotion and success, and how to balance work and life, among other things.
Mid Career – prepare for promotion to a more senior position, be an effective leader, build collaborations and start new research initiatives, and balance work and life.
CRA-WP offers different types of Early & Mid-Career Mentoring Workshops, for attendees who are:
Early CMW Research – in their early stages of a research career in academia.
Early CMW Lab – in their early stages of a research career in an industry or government research lab.
Early CMW Education – in their early stages of a career in teaching and undergraduate education.
Mid-CMW Research – in the middle stages of a research career in academia.
Mid-CMW Lab – in the middle stages of a research career in an industry or government research lab.
Mid-CMW Education – in the middle stages of a career in teaching and undergraduate education.
