Mid-Career Mentoring Workshop

Are you in the mid stages of a career in academia, industry or at a government lab? Are you interested in interacting with leading women in your field that can mentor you and give you advice?

If so, participate in one of our Career Mentoring Workshops!

The next Mid-Career Mentoring Workshop will be held November 3-4, 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona. This workshop is for all three tracks: Mid-CMW Research, Mid-CMW Lab and Mid-CMW Education.

When you attend a Mid-Career Mentoring Workshop, you will receive mentoring and advice on topics such as how to: prepare for promotion to a more senior position, be an effective leader, build collaborations and start new research initiatives, and balance work and life.

CRA-W offers three different types of Mid-Career Mentoring Workshops, for attendees who are:

  • Mid-CMW Research – in the middle stages of a research career in academia.
  • Mid-CMW Lab – in the middle stages of a research career in an industry or government research lab.
  • Mid-CMW Education – in the middle stages of a career in teaching and undergraduate education.
