The School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University is hiring for three open tenure and tenure-track faculty positions
The School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence, or SCAI, part of the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, is excited to announce hiring efforts for three open tenure and tenure-track faculty positions.
SCAI harnesses the power of computer engineering education and research to tackle urgent societal, technological and environmental grand challenges. We seek to build a collaborative, cooperative, transdisciplinary home for scholars, researchers and industry experts to create impactful, principled innovations. As one of the nation’s largest computer science schools, we have more than 12,000 students across three campuses and online, enrolled in 10 degree programs, including highly ranked offerings in artificial intelligence, engineering management, industrial engineering, cybersecurity and computer engineering.
With 85 tenured and tenure-track faculty members and 37 teaching faculty, research faculty and professors of practice, the school boasts more than 23 early career and NSF CAREER awards and 20 fellowships in societies and institutes, including the National Academy of Engineering. Across the 2023 fiscal year, our nine major research centers submitted $202 million in proposals, received $32 million in awards, and made $27.7 million in expenditures.
