The Computer Science Department at the College of Charleston invites applications for one instructor position starting August 2024.
The rapidly-growing Computer Science department (http://cs.cofc.edu) has over 540 students who are enrolled in five undergraduate degree programs and two master’s programs.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, collegiality, and a passion for teaching. This position is primarily a teaching appointment with four course/lab sections per semester, which will also require professional development and service activities. Candidates with expertise in all areas of computer science are sought to support our undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Computing in the Arts, Computer Information Systems, and Data Science. An earned Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required before August 15, 2024.
