MAX PLANCK DIRECTORS
We are looking for the strongest and most creative scientists worldwide. Core criteria for directorship are scientific and scholarly excellence, an innovative and visionary research program, and personal and intellectual leadership, rather than seniority. Max Planck Directors enjoy complete scientific freedom. We offer an international and excellent research environment, outstanding infrastructure, and competitive long-term scientific funding. Excellent administrative support enables our directors to focus on research.

To nominate an outstanding scientist, please provide a letter of support. For self-nominations, please upload a letter of motivation including a two to three-page research proposal, your CV, a publication list and three to five selected publications.
