The Computer Science Department at New Mexico State University seeks applications for the position of Program Specialist. Duties include: Lead the day-to-day operations of the program; develop and disseminate advertising and recruitment materials; assist in the data collection and evaluation activities; assist in the development of reports; coordinate with the other sites of the project; supervise part-time student mentors; manage academic support; monitor and manage program budget; coordinate departmental and program commitments; research, write, and apply for grants; conduct recruiting events; plan, design, and organize presentations. Experience with K-12 education, outreach programs and teacher professional development is highly preferred. Please note: This position is contingent upon continued external funding.
