Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor in Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science at The University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applicants for a non-tenure-track clinical faculty position with the rank of “Clinical Instructor” or “Clinical Assistant Professor” beginning August 2021. Applicants must possess an M.S. degree in computer science or related field for the “Clinical Instructor” position, and a Ph.D. is required for the “Clinical Assistant Professor” position. Evidence of effective teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in keeping abreast with the changing computer technology and curriculum is expected. The successful candidate will teach four computer science courses per semester during fall and spring. The ability to teach courses in computer networks, computer architectures, or software engineering areas is preferred. The successful candidate will also serve as an academic advisor to undergraduate students like other members of the computer science faculty.
