The office of the Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks applicants to fill two positions at the rank of Instructor or Senior Instructor to begin fall 2022. Instructors will teach in the MS in Data Science Program, emphasizing statistics, R programming, and machine learning. The initial appointments are for three years, with contract renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance.

Successful candidates will be fluent in the R programming language (Tidyverse, a plus) and prepared to teach data science courses, including statistical methods, regression, statistical learning, data mining, and machine learning. Preference will be given to applicants who know Python and are qualified to teach a wide range of courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The salary range is $65,000 – $82,500 for the instructor position or $80,000 – $100,000 for the senior instructor position, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
