The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign invites applications for open-rank full-time faculty positions. All qualified candidates will be considered at all levels and in all areas of electrical and computer engineering, broadly defined, including the areas of Semiconductor Devices, Electromagnetics and Sensing Systems, Power and Energy Systems, Quantum Information Science, Bioinformatics and Bioimaging, Integrated Circuits and Systems, AI/Autonomous Systems, Robotics, Signal Processing and Data Science, Control, Optimization, and Decision Science, Embedded Computing Systems and the Internet of Things, Data-Centric Computer Systems and Storage, Networked and Distributed Computing Systems. Also, candidates to be part of a cluster hire in Neuroinformatics or a cluster hire in Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications of Digital Transformation are encouraged to apply. Areas of particular interest this year are Computer Engineering, High-speed Integrated Circuits, and Semiconductor Electronics.
