The Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA is recruiting to fill a tenure track faculty position in data science, with starting dates on or after July 1, 2022. Exceptional candidates in all aspects of data science, including systems, algorithms, theory, machine learning, visualization, and applications, are being sought. The opening is not restricted to any rank and outstanding candidates at all levels are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will have their tenure home in the Department of Computer Science, and they will also be considered for joint appointments with the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (UMIACS), a multi-disciplinary research institute.
