The University of the Pacific School of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Computer Engineering, to start Fall 2024.

The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching at a predominantly undergraduate institution and dedicated to establishing a research program that engages students.

Teaching responsibilities will include a variety of undergraduate courses offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as the opportunity to develop new graduate courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Other duties include scholarly research, mentoring senior capstone design projects, participation in departmental and university governance, and ongoing professional development.
