Borja Sotomayor
Senior Instructional Professor, Department of Computer Science, University of Chicago
Borja Sotomayor is currently a Senior Instructional Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago, as well as the Director of the Masters Program in Computer Science. He teaches classes on introductory programming, software development, and computer networks, and also collaborates frequently with the Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning, where he is involved in a number of efforts related to the evaluation of teaching, as well as the use of alternative assessment techniques like specifications grading.
When he is not working, Borja enjoys watching movies, traveling, cooking Spanish food, hiking, following US politics, and designing t-shirts.
