Congratulations to Newly Elevated IEEE Fellows
IEEE recently named its 2021 class of newly elevated Fellows. IEEE Fellow is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation. Several individuals involved with CRA have been elevated to Fellows. They are:
Ayanna Howard, Georgia Institute of Technology
“for contributions to human-robot interaction systems”
CRA and CRA-WP Board Member
Howard was recently hired as Dean of the College of Engineering at Ohio State University.
Lise Getoor, University of California, Santa Cruz
“for contributions to machine learning and reasoning under uncertainty”
Former CRA Board Member
Yolanda Gil, University of Southern California
“for contributions to geoscience and scientific discovery with intelligent workflow systems”
