The Department of Computer Science at the University of Denver (DU) is building an academically and culturally diverse faculty and staff who teach and work in a supportive environment surrounded by people with a strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). DU is an R1 school and the computer science department offers computer science degrees at the BS, MS, and PhD levels as well as MS programs in Data Science and Cybersecurity. We invite applications for two nine-month tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in Computer Science, with particular interest in applicants who have strengths in algorithms, artificial intelligence, computer science education, games, human-computer/robot interaction (HCI/HRI), natural language processing, robotics, security and privacy, or software engineering. The salary range for this position is $110,000-$118,000. The University of Denver offers excellent benefits, including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefit and ECO pass.
