Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Biostatistics
The Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan is seeking applicants for a tenure-track (Assistant Professor) faculty position, expected to start at the beginning of the Fall semester, 2022. A particular focus of the position is on candidates who have interests in big data and health data science in biomedical applications that include, but are not limited to, the development of methodology and algorithms for learning from complex and heterogeneous data, for large-scale study design and data visualization, and for combining the results of different models in ensemble analyses. Required qualifications include a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in biostatistics, statistics, data science, computer science, bioinformatics, or other related quantitative disciplines, and a strong research interest in health data science.
