The Department of Computer Science at the Colorado School of Mines (Mines) invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in Computer Science anticipated to begin in August 2025. The search is for faculty hires at the rank of Assistant Professor; however, exceptional candidates at higher ranks may be considered. While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, the department is especially interested in candidates with research specialization in one or more of the following broadly defined areas: Machine Learning and AI (e.g., Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Big Data Computing, Computer Vision, and Bioinformatics), and Quantum Computing (e.g., quantum information theory, quantum machine learning, quantum cryptography, quantum error correction, and quantum algorithms).
