The Department of Computer Science at Florida State University invites applications for a specialized faculty (Teaching Faculty I) position beginning Fall 2024. The position is 12-month, renewable, full time, benefits eligible, and non-tenure track. The department currently has 26 tenure-track and 7 specialized faculty members and offers degrees at the BS, MS, and PhD levels. Undergraduate programs include a B.S. and B.A. track in Computer Science as well as degrees in Cyber Criminology, Computational Biology, and Computer Programming and Application Development. The department looks to provide world-class instruction for undergraduates while emphasizing the importance of research and professional engagement in a well-rounded education in Computer Science.
