Hunter College of The City University of New York (CUNY) seeks a dynamic individual to lead the Department of Computer Science (starting in January 2025 possible). The Chair will serve as a mentor for faculty and staff, advocate for the department within the broader college context, and facilitate collaborations with other units in the college. The Chair is expected to commit to at least two terms (equivalent to six years) in this role. The minimum requirements are a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline, and current rank of Full Professor or Associate Professor with Tenure.
