The Computer Science Department of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) (http://www.cs.nps.edu) invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. We are especially interested in candidates with background in networking, cyber security, theory, or emerging areas.

Our students are primarily U.S. and international military officers and DoD civilians seeking master’s and PhD degrees. We specialize in cyber security, networking, modeling and simulation, AI, software engineering, and data science. We foster close collaboration with external military and civilian colleagues, supported by state-of-the-art national and international laboratories.  NPS is located close to the Silicon Valley, and is well connected in the DoD communities. We are a growing faculty of 45, with 19 tenure track professors.

Minimum qualifications:

• Have PhD in computer science or related discipline.
• Hold or be eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.
