The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Computer Science, starting August 1, 2025. We seek candidates with strong research and teaching potential, especially in Human-Computer Interaction and Virtual Reality. However, applicants in other areas such as algorithms, AI, machine learning, data analytics, databases, data mining, image processing, networking,
and security are also encouraged. UNCG’s Computer Science Department offers ABET-accredited B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. programs and is experiencing rapid growth.
