The University of West Florida Department of Intelligent Systems and Robotics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position (Position # 129550) at the assistant professor level. While recruiting in areas at the forefront of AI research is currently a priority, outstanding candidates in all areas of intelligent systems, robotics and human-machine teaming will be considered. Qualified research-intensive applicants can be considered for a joint appointment with IHMC. Applicants require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution at the time of employment.
