CRA Welcomes 2022 Tisdale Fellow
By Dalton Hellwege, 2022 CRA Tisdale Fellow
Hi! My name is Dalton Hellwege, and I am so excited and honored to be this year’s Tisdale Fellow at CRA. I am in my third and final year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), majoring in Statistics and Analytics with a minor in Studio Art. At UNC, I am on the Carolina Boxing Team and try to get involved when COVID permits.
For fun, I have lots of hobbies: hiking, sports, coding, painting, photography, learning new languages, hammocking, and much more. I love trying new things and always have an open mind! Next year, I will be finishing my studies up in Chapel Hill in the Fall and then going to Ecuador (or somewhere in South America) in the Spring for study abroad. In Ecuador, I will be in art school and trying my best to learn as much as I can about Spanish and the culture in South America.
Looking to the future, I aspire to be a business developer and Entrepreneur. I love the idea of creating the change one wants to see, introducing products and ideas that benefit society, and also helping those around me reach their goals/dreams. Currently, I am working on a new social media app and have some small projects brewing that I hope to release following graduation next year.
At CRA this summer, I am excited to get the opportunity to work with everyone within the organization. I hope to gain a solid understanding of how organizations interact with the government and push their agendas with Brian Mosley, analyze the Taulbee survey that CRA conducts and do other analysis/survey work with CERP, and anything else CRA throws my way! I appreciate the opportunity to learn from those within this organization and know it will be an amazing and enriching experience.
