Overview

The Computing Alliance for Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI) is a consortium of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) committed to consolidating the strengths, resources, and efforts of organizations that share the core value of increasing the number of Hispanics who pursue and complete baccalaureate and advanced degrees in computing areas. The CAHSI Summit engages faculty, students, industry, and other collaborators in activities that:

▪ Build connections
▪ Disseminate effective and promising practices
▪ Prepare students for pursuing higher education and productive careers in computing
▪ Promotes conversations and actions that address involvement of Hispanics in Computing.

For CAHSI Roundtable Participants, CAHSI will provide you with a hotel code to make your hotel reservations once your assistance is confirmed via email.

CAHSI Group Block

To reserve rooms for CAHSI institutions as a group block please contact Claudia Casas, CAHSI Program Manager, via email at ccasas@utep.edu. Group blocks will be available from July 15, 2015 to July 31, 2015.

For CAHSI speakers and presenters, CAHSI will provide you with a hotel code to make your hotel reservations once your assistance or session is confirmed via email.

Airport

San Juan, Puerto Rico main airport is Luis Munoz International Airport which is 7 miles from the Caribe Hilton Resort, about 15 minutes driving distance.

Ground Transportation

The hotel does not provide shuttle transportation. The Taxi fare estimate is $20.00 one way trip.
