Overview:

This workshop encouraged underrepresented cybersecurity professionals, students, and researchers to attend top security and privacy conferences and engage in cutting-edge security and privacy research. In addition, this workshop provided opportunities for participants to network and share career development experiences.

This workshop was co-located with the ACM CCS 2017 conference.

We have funds to support worksop travel and attendance.  Apply for a travel grant by submitting the following materials to danfeng@vt.edu.

  1. Your CV/resume
  2. Citizenship or permanent resident status 
  3. A short letter explaining your financial need and how attending CyberW (and CCS) would benefit you.
  4. If you are a student, include a short letter from your advisor explaining your current status and the financial need.
Submit your application by September 15th. We will send out notifications starting September 15th.
