Overview

As a capstone event for the CI Fellows program, the CCC held a workshop intended to bring together former CIFellows, Postdoctoral Students, and Early Career Researchers in computing to provide them advice at this juncture of their career, enable them to network with other people at similar stages of their career, and discuss emergent research visions and topics with luminaries in the field. The workshop was 1.5 days in the Washington, DC area. It was an opportunity for attendees to meet National Science Foundation program officers as well as representatives from other agencies. The content covered at the workshop came from the 2017 CCC Symposium, recent CCC visioning workshops, and CRA programs for Career Mentoring and Leadership in Science Policy.
